First of all, let’s talk about DATES. I would like to tell all of you that we are going to see the start of IPL 2025 on 22 March 2025. At the same time, we are going to see the grand finale, the final match of IPL 2025, on 25 May 2025.

There will be a total of 13 Venues that have been selected for IPL 2025. 4. IPL 2025 New Format and Group Division
In IPL 2025, matches will be played between 10 teams like last season. But this time, some changes have been made in the format of the tournament:-
- All 10 teams were divided into two groups. Group A and Group B
- Each team will play 1 time with the teams of its group and 2 times with the teams of the other group.
- After the league stage, the top 4 teams will qualify for the playoffs.
- The playoffs have the same format as last year: Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and Final.
- Every team will play some matches at its home ground, and the remaining matches will be held at neutral venues.

5. IPL 2025 Schedule
Now, let’s talk about the schedule of IPL 2025. So, in the first match of IPL 2025, we will get to see RCB VS KKR on March 22 at the stadium in Kolkata. The second match will be between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals on March 23 at 3:30 pm.
The third match will be played on 23rd March at 7:30 pm between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at the Chennai Stadium. And the fourth match will be played on 24th March between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants at the Visakhapatnam Stadium.
